Technical Director

Technical Director   Working exclusively with our client an award-winning non-traditional digital consultancy we require a Technical Director.  As Technical Director you will be part of the Belfast senior management team. This is a leadership role that will continue to position Belfast as a key digital hub within the greater business. In this role you will be the tech champion and use your experience designing and delivering enterprise digital transformation projects to develop your team and client projects for global names and key public sector programmes of work.    Where:  Hybrid and Belfast  Who:  Hypergrowth Digital Consultancy  World-class team and projects   Global and National customer base  Cutting Edge tech  What you will do:  You will provide leadership and quality assurance across engineering and be a key internal and external technology champion across the business. You will be part of a small team of technical directors who influence strategy and direction.   Build and manage diverse teams that deliver best in class digital and technology solutions   Use your skills in Agile, DevOps and modern engineering practices, enabled by major cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure), and other platforms, tools and technologies.   Manage the delivery of large and complex engineering assignment  Use your skills in managing progress Risk and Issues  Be the technical authority within large multi-disciplinary relationship team to guide and enable multiple teams across projects.   Be the technical evangelist within the business that others look to for guidance.  Responsibilities will include:  Skills and Experience  Technical Experience of the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, utilising Agile, DevOps and modern engineering practices.  Experience in major cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure), and other platforms, tools and technologies   Experience of working at the c-level to deliver enterprise DevOps strategies, which encompass modern techniques (Continuous Deployment and PAAS)   Experience with activity/risk mapping and mitigation across technical, operational, people and third-party concerns.   Thrive in environments of constant change and manage change.    What this opportunity means for you:  An opportunity where you have a real voice in the business on strategy at a local and national level as part of a small team of technical directors.  Part of a company that lives its values.
